Nigeria is the strictest market we serve on age limits, and the question we get most from Lagos-based buyers is simple: "will this specific unit even clear customs?"

Import rules. Nigeria enforces a 12-year age limit on used vehicle imports — any unit older than that will be rejected at port, no exceptions. Combined import levy runs 35% or higher depending on vehicle class, so we always screen the manufacture year before we quote a unit to Nigerian buyers.

Ports & logistics. Lagos Apapa is the standard clearance port for our Nigeria shipments. Container (RoRo or boxed) sea freight from our southern China export yards typically takes 30-40 days door-to-port; we handle bill of lading and export documentation on our end.

What sells. GWM Poer and Toyota Hilux pickups move fastest for commercial buyers; Chery Tiggo7/8 and MG ZS/HS SUVs are the top sellers for private importers and dealers reselling in Lagos and Abuja.
