How to verify a Chinese used car exporter?

Verify an exporter by checking four things: whether they source real cars and can show them, disclose year/mileage/steering/condition, welcome independent inspection, and provide export documents and company details.

Four checks

• Real cars: photos and a condition report for each unit.
• Disclosure: year, mileage, steering and condition.
• Inspection: third-party inspection welcome.
• Documents: invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin.

Red flags

No inspectable car, no documents, or prices far below market. Because customs assess the declared value, an unrealistic invoice is a warning sign. Ask about verification.
